Thank you for visiting our website and checking out this bio!  We are a flower farm near downtown Fort Collins.  We mainly work with local florists and we also serve retail customers who are interested in buying bulk buckets and/or wedding items crafted with local, seasonal flowers.  If you are interested in working with us, please get in touch! As an ecologist by training and a lifelong plant lover, I started this flower farm (with a lot of help from my family) in 2015.  Honestly, there wasn’t a well-thought-out plan behind it at the time, I just converted some of our huge vegetable garden into some flower beds and started selling bouquets locally.  It wasn’t a big year in terms of sales—I didn’t grow that much after all—but boy, did I learn a lot! Since that first year, I’ve expanded many times over and I’ve continued to learn so much from the process and also from the people around me. 

One of my biggest challenges as a grower is to decide what to grow.  Every year, I resolve to be disciplined and grow larger quantities of fewer things, but my resolve breaks down when it’s time to buy seeds and bulbs and I decide that I cannot live without this parrot tulip, oh and THAT Korean feather grass, and this one really cool color of this dahlia!    I’m addicted to having some of every shape and color and fragrance, and after this many years in business I am resigned to just go with this.  We hope that you enjoy the results!

Nestled in the heart of Fort Collins, my venture into the world of flowers began with a love for nature's wonders, a need to have my hands in the soil, and to feel a different kind of purpose rooted in hard work and creative expression.

For the past four years, flowers have played a central role in my world, encompassing flower farming, design, and ownership of my small business, Feral Flora. Through Feral Flora, I channel my creative energy into crafting unique dried floral sculptures that stand as a testament to my passion and artistic expression.
